Allyson Felix
Allyson Michelle Felix was born Los Angeles on November 18 1985. Paul Felix, the father of Allyson Michelle Felix is a minister at Master's Seminary Sun Valley. Marlean Felix works as a primary school teacher in Balboa Magnet. Felix's ability to compete in athletics was evident right from the day she was enrolled at Los Angeles Baptist High School. Felix finished second in the U.S. Indoor Track and Field Championships in only 10 weeks, after her very first tryout. Felix was signed to an official career at Adidas in 2003, and then enrolled at University of Southern California to study elementary education. A year later Felix was awarded the first Olympic medal in the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens Greece setting a junior world record by running 200 meters in 22.18 seconds. She was the youngest participant in the 200 meter during the World Championships held in Helsinki in 2005. She won her medal time and time again in 2007 beating her long-time Jamaican opponent Veronica Campbell. Felix always placed within the top three in her various competitions during the Olympics that took place in Beijing London Rio de Janeiro Tokyo.
