Julianne Moore

Julie Anne Smith, A.K.A. Julianne Moore was an Hollywood writer and actor for many years. She is also acclaimed by reviewers. Sagittarius. Born in North Carolina, on 3rd December 1960. She's the eldest of three siblings born in the home of Peter Moore Smith, a paratrooper, and Anne a psychologist. The Moore family has English as well as Scottish heritage. Because of her father's work, the Moore family was often moved and she had to work hard to make relationships or keep them. Moore began acting in plays during her time at Frankfurt American High School when the family moved to Germany. Her education continued at Boston University where she graduated in 1983 with a B.F.A. In 1983 she graduated with an B.F.A. Moore made the move in New York after graduating and began her career in off-Broadway stage. In 1985, she made her on-screen debut on The Edge of Night. She played the roles of Sabrina Hughes and Frannie Hughes in As the World Changes the show that marked her debut. It was on until 1988 and won the Daytime Emmy Award for her performance. Her film debut came in 1990 when she starred in Tales from the Darkside: The Movie, which she described later as a shambles low-budget production. Short Cuts, both produced by Robert Altman (1993), and 3 Women, also productions from Altman (1997) included among her films. Moore received numerous nominations and was praised for the debut film. Moore's first leading role was as a lead actress in Safe (1995). Steven Spielberg's choice to cast Moore as the lead in Jurassic Park: The Lost World which was one of the top grossing films of 1997, marked a major turning point for her career. In 1999, she was a part of the critically acclaimed Magnolia and received an SAG Award nomination in recognition of her work. The Hours, a 2002 film in which she co-starred with Nicole Kidman and Meryl Strreep was nominated for nine Academy Awards. Other films she has acted in include The Forgotten 2004 Freedomland 2006. Shelter (2010), among others. In 2014 she appeared in Non-Stop. Moore has appeared in countless movies and TV shows. Most recently, she was in prominent roles was In 2022, When You Finish Securing the World. Her acting career in Hollywood is well established as well as her work as an author of children's novels. She released her first book in 2007 Freckleface Strawberry and quickly became an N.Y.T. best-seller, leading to it being adapted into a series and a musical. She also published My Mom's a Foreigner in 2013. Moore being a popular author and performer is also known for making her personal life known to the world. She married John Robin in 1984 and the couple divorced in 1995. Bart Freundlich is the father of two of her children. Moore's life is all about her children, friends, and profession.
