Kelly Nash was born in Davie, Florida, a suburb of Fort Lauderdale. Kelly Nash spent her childhood fishing and boating with her father Ed Nash. Kaitlyn Nash is her sister . Carolyn Nash is her brother. Kelly Nash is of English, Irish, Swedish, and Portuguese Ethnic group. Her great-grandfather immigrated to the United States from Portugal.



 From a young age, Kelly Nash was a enthusiast of the Miami Marlins. While she was a sports fan from a young age, she always dreamed of becoming an anchor for a newscast. Kelly Nash received a Bachelor's degree in Communication and Media Studies from Clemson University in Clemson, South Carolina in 2006. She then completed her studies at Clemson with Master's degree in Youth Development Leadership in 2009. In exchange for covering their soccer and baseball teams during the Sports information Department career, she was awarded an all-sports scholarship from the Clemson Academic Department.



 Kelly Nash, a MLB Network studio host, has appeared on multiple shows including Quick Pitch, the nightly highlights show. Her appearances on On The Fly, the Nightly Game recap Show, and NHL Network Studio are a part of her job as host for NHL Network Studio. She joined the MLB Network in March 2015. In 2015, she began contributing to the NHL Network.
